Resumen

El docente como principal encargado de procesos de transferencia del conocimiento requiere desarrollar competencias que le permitan además la producción de conocimiento y un aporte significativo en los procesos de apropiación social de la ciencia, tecnología e innovación. El presente artículo, tiene como objetivo analizar las reflexiones del rol que juegan los docentes en la investigación, su pertinencia en el campo académico y el impacto del desarrollo de sus competencias investigativas para el fomento de la producción científica y la actividad investigadora.

Abstract

The teacher asthe main person in charge of knowledge transfer processes needs to develop competencies that also allow the production of knowledge and a significant contribution to the processes of social appropriation of science, technology and innovation. The objective of this article is to analyze the reflections of the role that teachers play in research, its relevance in the academic field and the impact of the development of their investigative skills for the promotion of scientific production and research activity.
