Socio-educational perspective of circus art from a historical point of view

Resumen

En el presente artículo se hizo un análisis de las artes circenses, desde una perspectiva socioeducativa. Como objeto de estudio, este constituye una metodología que aporta grandes beneficios en la construcción de habilidades comunicativas, artísticas, corporales y en la práctica pedagógica del maestro desde el componente lúdico; sin embargo, en el ámbito educativo los antecedentes que develan la implementación de esta metodología son escasos. Por tal motivo, nace el interés de construir este artículo, que vigoriza y visibiliza las nuevas praxis educativas en este tema. Siendo así, se plantea un objetivo el cual pretende describir los aportes y desafíos del arte circense en el ámbito educativo.

En este orden de ideas, se realizó una revisión documental para la recolección de información de manera crítica y descriptiva, como criterio de inclusión que los documentos hubiesen sido publicados entre los años 2016 hasta 2021, se incluyeron artículos publicados en inglés, español y portugués. Con referencia a los resultados en la recolección de documentos se obtiene una semejanza en el desarrollo de las técnicas circenses como un beneficio para el cuerpo, cerebro, el alma y el espíritu.

Abstract

In this article an analysis of circus arts was made from a socio-educational perspective. As an object of study, this constitutes a methodology that brings great benefits in the construcción of communicative, artistic and corporal skills and in the pedagogical practice of the teacher from the playful component; however, in the educational field, the antecedents that reveal the implementation of this methodology are scarce. For this reason, the interest of constructing this article is born, which invigorates and makes visible the new educational praxis in this subject. Thus, the objective is to describe the contributions and challenges of circus art in the educational field.

In this order of ideas, a documentary review was conducted for the collection of information in a critical and descriptive manner, as an inclusion criterion that the documents had been published between the years 2016 to 2021, articles published in English, Spanish and Portuguese were included. With reference to the results in the collection of documents, a similarity is obtained in the development of circus techniques as a benefit for the body, brain, soul and spirit.
